Simple steps to protect your furniture from damage and everyday wear. Please read these guides and keep them for future reference.

• Use floor protectors on the base of your furniture, especially tables and chairs.
• Rotate and flip lounge seating cushions regularly for even wear and to protect from fading.
• Use coasters, tablecloths, table runners and placemats to protect surfaces from damage and stains.
• Maintain all surfaces, materials and finishes with the appropriate care products.
• Only use your furniture for its intended purpose, in its intended location.

• Do not drag furniture — always lift, then move.
• Do not place furniture in direct sunlight. It causes fading and can crack or warp materials. This includes sunlight through a window.
• Do not sit or rest on the arms of a chair or lounge — they are not designed to support excessive weight.
• Do not allow pets to sit or jump on your furniture.
• Do not place furniture close to heating or air-conditioning vents.
• Do not stand on stools or chairs.

Furniture may become a tipping hazard. We strongly recommend anchoring furniture to the wall, including:

• Bedroom storage over 500mm tall — chests of drawers, tallboys, dressers, wardrobes, bedside tables
• Bookcases and libraries over 600mm tall
• Storage cubes and modular units over 600mm tall combined
• Entertainment units over 500mm tall
• Buffets and hutches over 500mm tall
• Filing cabinets or similar over 500mm tall
